Our Season



We begin our season in early April in and around the backwater bays and tidal rivers with the arrival of the Striped Bass.



By May, Bluefish and Weakfish also begin to enter our waters as the action for all three species begins to really heat up!



By mid June, the outer beaches become thick with trophy migrating stripers while the back bays continue to produce with stripers, large bluefish and tiderunner Weakfish.



Upon the arrival of summer our offshore waters will come alive with a multitude of pelagic bluewater species. Bonito, Skipjack Tuna, False Albacore, Dolphin, Sharks, and larger tuna are all for the taking along our midshore lumps and offshore canyons. Inshore, our backwaters and outer beaches will continue to produce with fluke, weakfish, and bluefish.



September begins the arrival of the Bonito and the False Albacore to our inshore waters. These hard tails deliver explosively fast runs that will put your skills and equipment to the ultimate test. Striper fishing heats up again with the arrival of the legendary New Jersey mullet run. Offshore our Bluefin Tuna fly fishing heats up with 30 to 80 pound fish taken on the fly!



The late fall fishing along the Jersey Shore is truly spectacular! Our outer beaches offer prime opportunities to hook into stripers and Blue’s of truly trophy proportion. Come witness the excitement first hand as large herds of migrating fish blitz acres of bait during the long journey south.
